1. The Promoter
The promoter is DS Competitions LTD, registered under Company Number 15987212, with its registered office located at 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, United Kingdom, IP28 7DE
2. The Competition
2.1 These terms and conditions apply to all competitions listed on the Promoter’s website at dscompetitions.co.uk (referred to as the “Website”).
2.2 The Promoter may present competitions in various formats. As specified in clause 2.3, an entry fee is required for each competition entry unless other method of entry is chosen.
2.3 To qualify for a chance to win, all participants (referred to as “Entrants”) must accurately answer a question or solve a problem posed by the Promoter (the “Competition Question”) or use the Free Entry Route. In cases where the Promoter offers a straightforward or multiple-choice question, or if no Competition Question is provided, an alternative free entry option is available in all competitions.
3. How to Enter
3.1 The competition will commence on the specified Opening Date and conclude on the Closing Date as indicated on the Website. All references to times and dates are based on London, England.
3.2 The Promoter retains the right to modify the Opening and Closing Dates if necessary. Any changes will be reflected on the Website.
3.3 All entries must be submitted to the Promoter by the specified deadline on the Closing Date. Entries received after the designated time will be automatically disqualified, and no refunds will be issued.
3.4 The maximum number of entries allowed for the competition will be outlined on the Website. Should this limit be reached, the number of entries per person may be restricted.
3.5 Participants are permitted to enter the competition multiple times until the maximum entry cap is met. However, free entries must be submitted individually, as bulk entries will only be counted as a single submission. We do not accept receipts as proof of delivery and recorded delivery is also not accepted.
3.6 To enter the competition:
(a) Visit the Website and view the Competition Question, if applicable;
(b) Complete and submit the online entry form;
(c) Purchase the required number of entries;
(d) If there is a Competition Question, provide your answer after purchasing your entries.
3.7 All entries must be submitted in English. Entries submitted in any other language will be automatically disqualified, and refunds will not be granted.
3.8 Unless you are utilizing the free entry method, the Promoter will confirm receipt of your entry.
3.9 The Promoter is not responsible for entries that are not completed successfully, lost, or delayed due to any circumstances, including equipment failure, technical malfunctions, or issues related to networks, servers, or computer hardware or software.
3.10 By purchasing entries and submitting a competition entry, you are forming a contract with the Promoter and agreeing to abide by these terms and conditions.
3.11 You may enter the competition for free by fulfilling the following conditions:
(a) Send your entry via first or second-class mail to the Promoter at: 82A James Carter Road Mildenhall, IP28 7DE;
(b) Hand-delivered entries will not be accepted and will be excluded from the random draw;
(c) Include the following information with your entry:
(i) Your full name And D.O.B
(ii) Your address;
(iii) A contact telephone number and email address;
(iv) Your answer to the Competition Question (if applicable) and account details.
(d) Incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified;
(e) You may submit multiple free entries for any competition (subject to any limits imposed by the Promoter), but each free entry must be sent separately. Bulk entries in one envelope will only be counted as a single entry;
(f) By entering the competition, you confirm your eligibility to participate and accept these terms and conditions;
(g) Your entry must reach the Promoter before the Closing Date allowing time for free entry to be processed. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be included in the random draw. Proof of mailing does not guarantee entry into the random draw;
(h) The Promoter will not acknowledge receipt of your entry or confirm the correctness of your answer to the Competition Question;
(i) If the entry cap is reached before your free entry is received, you will not be included in the random draw.
4. Selecting a Winner
4.1 All Entrants who correctly respond to the Competition Question will be entered into a random draw. If no Competition Question is presented, all Entrants will be included in the random draw. This draw will occur as soon as reasonably possible, and no later than 7 days after the Closing Date (the “Draw Date”).
4.2 All Entrants’ names and entry numbers will be compiled into a spreadsheet, which may be published on the Website and made visible during the live draw. If you prefer not to have your name included in this list, please contact the Promoter via email at ds@dscompetitions.co.uk as soon as possible after your entry and at least 48 hours before the live draw occurs.

5. Eligibility
5.1 The competition is open only to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or older, excluding:
(a) Employees of the Promoter;
(b) Employees of agents or suppliers associated with the Promoter who are involved in the competition’s administration;
(c) Immediate family members or households of the individuals mentioned in (a) and (b).
5.2 By participating in the competition, you confirm your eligibility to enter and claim any prize you may win. The Promoter may ask for proof of eligibility, and failure to provide such proof within a reasonable timeframe may result in disqualification from the competition.
5.3 The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are:
(a) Computer Generated; or
(b) Incomplete, damaged or not completed correctly.
5.4 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant whose behaviour contradicts the spirit or intention of the prize competition. This includes instances of rude or abusive behaviour towards the Promoter or associated parties.
5.5 Subject to clause 11.3, entry fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to:
- (a) finding out post-entry that you are ineligible for the competition or prize;
- (b) changes to eligibility criteria following entry that result in ineligibility; or
- (c) disqualification by the Promoter for any reason.
5.6 Entrants will have their entries voided, with no refunds provided, and may be banned from future competitions for:
- (a) any fraudulent activity (actual or suspected),
- (b) fraudulent misrepresentation or concealment,
- (c) hacking or interference with the website’s function, or
- (d) unauthorized alteration or use of website code.
6. The Prize
6.1 Each competition’s prize (the “Prize”) is detailed on the Website. The Promoter endeavours to ensure that all Prize details are correct as of the Opening Date.
6.2 All Prizes are subject to availability. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize with another of equal or greater value. Any updates regarding the Prize will be made available on the Website.
6.3 The Promoter makes no representations or warranties regarding the Prize, including its value, condition, or other information provided.
- (a) For vehicle prizes, the Promoter ensures the vehicle has a valid MOT if required;
- (b) No insurance or vehicle tax is included; winners are responsible for obtaining insurance before operating the vehicle on public roads (if applicable);
- (c) The Promoter is not liable for the vehicle once collected by the winner. Winners must adhere to all laws and regulations relating to vehicle operation and safety;
- (d) Vehicle/road tax is not included;
- (e) The winner is responsible for obtaining necessary safety equipment, such as helmets, boots, or gloves.
6.4 If a third-party supplier provides the Prize (the “Supplier”), details will be available on the Website.
6.5 The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a cash equivalent if:
- (a) the Prize becomes unavailable, or
- (b) unforeseen circumstances require such a change.
6.6 Prizes are non-negotiable and non-transferable.
7. Winner Selection and Notification
7.1 All decisions by the Promoter are final. No correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
7.2 The winner’s full name will be announced during the live draw. Participants may request to have their name censored by contacting ds@dscompetitions.co.uk in advance.
7.3 The Promoter will contact the winner using the details provided upon entry. If a winner does not respond within 21 days of the Draw Date, the Promoter may award the Prize to an alternate winner chosen in the same manner as the original. This process will continue until a winner accepts the Prize.
7.4 To validate the award, the Promoter will publish the winner’s full name and county/town on the Website. Winners who wish to withhold some or all of this information may contact the Promoter.
8. Claiming the Prize
8.1 Only the winner may claim the Prize; third-party claims are not accepted. Prize delivery or collection details are available on the Website or upon request.
8.2 Winners are responsible for keeping their contact information current. Updates should be emailed to the Promoter.
8.3 Cash Prizes are directly transferred to the winner’s nominated bank account, provided the winner verifies account ownership within 14 days. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture, and the Promoter may award the prize to the next eligible Entrant.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Promoter and its agents are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained as a result of accepting the prize, except in cases of negligence. This does not affect statutory rights.
10. Data Protection and Publicity
10.1 By entering, you consent to the use of your personal information for competition administration as outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
10.2 If you win, you agree to allow the Promoter to use your name, image, and town or county for winner announcements and reasonable publicity.
10.4 Winners may need to provide further information to verify identity and eligibility before receiving the Prize.
10.5 You have the right to request removal of your personal details from the Promoter’s database. However, this will withdraw you from the competition, and you will forfeit any entry fee.
11. General
11.1 These terms and conditions are subject to amendment by the Promoter. The latest version is available on the Website and/or here; 27.10.2024
11.2 The Promoter reserves the right to exclude you from current or future competitions if you breach these terms.
11.3 If the Promoter must cancel or amend the competition due to unforeseen circumstances, entry fees will be refunded.
11.4 The competition will proceed regardless of the number of entries received at the Closing Date on the competition
11.5 The competition is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Facebook or any other social media.
11.6 These terms are governed by English law, and parties submit to the courts of England and Wales.
